Chapter 90

1210 Words

Persuading one of her father's security personnel to transport them to Lucielle's apartment was a task accomplished with relative ease. The subsequent task of reaching out to her father's private pilot, inquiring if she was available to ferry Ara and her on the private jet to London, proved to be even less demanding. Sarah had been more than willing to aid them in reaching their destination, stating her readiness to always lend a hand to Lucielle. Upon hearing that, Lucielle had responded with a smile, before disconnecting the call, nonchalantly dismissing the string of texts Floyd had sent her way while she busied herself packing a small suitcase. Given their decision to 'take it slow', she didn't feel the urgency to respond immediately or inform him about her impromptu vacation plans.
