It was like the scene was playing in slow motion in front of my eyes. One minute I’m crying, in despair, trying my best to fight while I’m being held down. My head was aching from where Jaxx banged his head against it, and I could taste blood in my mouth. I wasn’t sure if it was from where I bit through his lip, or when I bit my tongue when he headbutted me. I was struggling one moment, and the next Jaxx was flying off of me, and I was able to breathe again.
