As he ran to me, he grabbed a shield. I let him, since I had two axes. The moment we were close to each other, we stopped, staring. Both of us poised, watching the other. Searching for weaknesses, as he taught me to. I always knew I would fight him, that this moment would come. We circled each other, watching, waiting, for the other to make the first move.
