“Why are we still here?” Ren looked up with a growl, anger rolling through him as he paced. He didn’t know why they were still here, to be honest, but he felt like there was more he could do. More he needed to do. Plus, there was Jem. Ren was furious that Jem was taken away, and that Danny didn’t say anything when he returned to the camp. But when Danny explained Jem didn’t want Aislyn to know and have something to worry about, he couldn’t fault Danny for the decision. What would have happened if he did know?
