My eyes slowly started to open, but my vision was blurred and it took me a while before my senses started coming back to me and in the background I could hear footsteps approaching my side.
"Helen couldn't escape from me when she needed to herself. Why did you think she could help you escape?" I heard a man say distantly and my foggy mind started to clear a bit more as I started to register my surroundings.
