Olivia’s POV
“Olly?” I heard someone anxiously looking for me as I trimmed the trees in the backyard, I didn’t want to spend a lot of time in the house because never knew what these strange people were always planning.
I didn’t respond and just acted like I didn’t hear her. She came rushing towards me with papers in her hands.
“Olly, you cleared, they accepted you at that school” She excitedly said to me as I faked a smile, holding on tight to the scissor.
“Isn’t that wonderful news? Oh, my god I can’t believe it” She said to me as she looked at the papers, she acted so proudly but I wasn’t even happy about it.
“When do you want to start? I was even thinking of….” She wanted to say but stopped when she saw my emotionless face.
“What’s wrong, sweetie?” She asked, coming closer to me as I sighed heavily, not sure what to say to her.
“Well, I was thinking that, is it possible if I could go to another school? Something less….” I wanted to say, but she looked so disappointed as she looked at me.
“Why? Is something wrong with the school?” She questioned, looking in my eyes as I sighed heavily.
“I just don’t think I will ever fit in. It’s just not me,” I said to her, and she raised her eyes.
“Olly, this is one of the best schools in the country, I know you will do great and you will be fine,” She convinced me, but my mind wasn’t at ease.
“Look, here’s what we will do.” She said coming to where I was standing.
“We will try this first education term and see how it goes, if you don’t like it then we can move you:” she said to me as she wrapped her hand around my neck. I kept quiet, and she looked at me as I lowered my head.
“Please? I swear if you don’t like it then you won’t go back there” She said to me as I nodded my head wanting to cut the conversation short so she can remove her hand from my body.
“Great! I will call your uncle so he can know,” she said to me as I faked a smile,
She went back inside, leaving me to my chore. I was nervous to go back to that school after that last encounter I had with that boy.

One week later.
Today was the first day I was going to school and my aunt was so excited, she checked on me three times last night if I had everything I needed.
I finished getting ready, and I went downstairs to have my breakfast before going to school. I found Paul sitting on the table busy on his laptop as I turned to look at my aunt who seemed to be busy.
Immediately they saw me, they closed their screens as I went to sit on my chair.
“Good morning,” I said, ’
“good morning Olivia,” they both said in unison as I sat down on, there was a silence on the table and I went on dishing my food as I just saw my aunt and Paul trying to start a conversation with me.
“So, what do you think you will be fine with the driver taking you to school? Are you excited,” Paul asked me as I lifted my head looking at them?
“Yes,”
“Great to hear. Your aunt will arrange a phone for you to communicate with him so that…” Paul wanted to say, but I cut him short.
“I don’t need a phone,” I said,
“what?” Paul looked surprised as he turned to my aunt who looked at me waiting for me to respond.
“I don’t need a phone; I will find out what time he can drop me off and knock off so he knows when to come and when not to come,” I said to them and they both looked puzzled.
“Olly are you sure?” My aunt finally spoke as I nodded my head.
“My mother said I will have a phone when I am ready to go to college so I will do that,” I said to both of them as my aunt nodded her head as she smiled at me.
“No problem, I will speak with Mr. Tucker and see what he thinks,” she said to me as I nodded my head, I gulp my food and left them on the dining table puzzled.
I quickly made my way to the car where I found Mr. Tucker waiting for me.
“Olly, wait for me” My aunt shouted behind me, I turned around and she was running towards us with a handbag in her hand,
“Let me go with you,” She said to me as I frowned. Why was she trying to act like she was my mother? I asked myself as she came to me.
“Uh-uh” I opened my mouth to speak but just closed it. My mother taught me to always be polite.
I just faked a smile walking with her to the car, I got in and she did the same. Throughout the drive I was just quiet, looking out the window as she tried to start a conversation with me.
We arrived at the school and I quickly got out of the car without wasting time. She waved at me and I made my way to the admission block.
I went to see the lady I saw last time so she can show me, my classes,’
“Hello Olivia, how have you been? You are late so I will take you straight to class rather than show you around the school, I am sure we can do that even tomorrow,” She said to me as I just swallowed hard grabbing my bag as I followed her behind.
She led me to the literature class first. She knocked twice before opening the door and walking in; I stood by the door as I waited for her. I watched her whisper something about things to the woman who seemed like the teacher.
She gestured for me to walk in, and I steadily took my steps as I went to the teacher and the lady from Admission.
“Okay, can I have everyone’s attention. We have someone here joining us. Her name is–” She said turning to look at me as I swallowed hard, I was nervous standing in front of everyone.
“My name is Olivia Price” I introduced myself, I heard say something about me and I heard them all break out in laughter. The teacher looked at me and nodded her head.
“Why don’t you sit over there? Thank you Gracey” she said to me before turning to the lady who smiled at me.
I walked to the back of the class, trying to find a seat when I finally found one. I tried to sit there, and I saw someone pull the chair away” I raised my eyebrows looking at the person who looked in my eyes. It was that boy from last week.
“Go find another seat newbie,” The boy said to me as I sighed looking at him wondering what he was doing.
“Ethan, be kind,” The teacher said, but he didn’t let go of the desk and seat.
“hey? Come sit here” some girl called me to where she was. I walked there going to settle down.
“Thank you,” I said to her as she smiled briefly at me
“No worries, I wouldn’t want you getting on the wrong side of Ethan Houston,” She said to me, I turned around looking at the boy who was busy staring at me. I swallowed hard, wondering if this is the school I wanted to be at.
