I just stood there staring at him, unsure of what to say or do, wondering why the universe hated me so damn much to bring him back again. Thinking, if he had just stayed away, maybe he would have taken my feelings for him along with him and it would have made everything a lot easier and I wouldn't have to feel guilty every step of the way.
