Zoe's POV...
‘That's him… the father of my baby,’ I whispered to myself, thinking it was low enough for Anna not to hear me. But I was wrong.
“Are you freaking kidding me?! That's your mystery guy," Anna asked to be sure she heard correctly.
I nodded. “Yes, that's him,” I assured her, as I was still in shock as to what I was seeing.
“Oh, my goodness!!! Yes, girl! Finally, babe, the universe has answered all our prayers," Anna chirped happily, jumping up and down the room.
“Do you know what this means? You’re freaking carrying an heir to the Shelton Dynasty!” She screamed happily.
“So, getting rid of the baby is out of the question now. That baby is our ticket to a good life," Anna continued as she smiled wildly.
As Anna kept rambling on, I kept quiet as my gaze didn't waver from the TV. I was still very shocked by all the information I had just gathered about my sexy, one-night stand.
I was soon snapped out of my thoughts by Anna, who was trying to get me to say something.
“Hello? Zoe? Say something, Zoe. You just hit a million-dollar jackpot, you should be happy," Anna said, urging me to talk.
“But, why was he at that regular club if he is this rich?” I murmured to myself, ignoring Anna’s statement.
I couldn't understand the reasons why he was there at that club. If he was rich, couldn't he have gone to a better club that fits more of his lifestyle?
“Who cares, why he was there? Let’s just focus on the fact that you are now carrying a Shelton HEIR and that's all that matters," Anna said, as she, somehow, was able to hear me.
“You know what,” Anna crossed her arms over her chest, looking at me with a smirk on her face.
“You are going to pay Blake Shelton a visit!'' she let out and I froze.
“What!... No!... Why?" I stumbled through my words. I was unsure of her plans.
“You’re going to tell that motherfucking guy that you are pregnant and he is going to be a father. Also, he has to give you your rightful place, as you’re the mother of his heir. He either marries you or gives you child support," Anna seriously said.
“I don't think I want to do any of that," I responded with a frown on my face.
“Oh, babe… you are doing this. Or I will drag you to his office by the hair," Anna commanded, with a stern expression on her face, leaving me no say in the matter.

The next morning, Anna woke me up with a phone call. She yelled through the phone, telling me what I had to do when I visited Blake.
She, also, threatens me that if I refuse to see Blake, she will cease to be my friend. But I rolled my eyes, knowing that her threats were meaningless.
I, hesitantly, got up and took a shower. I got dressed, while still having doubts about telling this man, whom I barely knew, that I was pregnant with his child. The fact he is a billionaire freaks me out even more.
''What if he treats me differently? What he hates the idea of me being pregnant, ” I asked myself so many unanswered questions. But a part of me wanted to see him again, to see those icy grey eyes of his that made me shiver, just looking at them.
Finally ready, I looked at the address to his office that Anna had sent to me earlier. And I internally, prayed that it should not be awkward, but I knew it was impossible, so I left my apartment with my heart racing a thousand miles per hour.
It took me close to an hour to get to his office, as it was on the upscale side of the town, and I didn't have a car.
Looking up at the tall building in front of me, I tried to calm my raging nerves. As I entered the building and walked up to the reception area, I was greeted by a beautiful girl with dirty blond hair.
“Good morning! Welcome to Shelton Corp. How may I help you?" she asked with a huge smile on her face.
“Ermmmm...," I fidgeted, playing with the hem of my dress, “I'm Zoe Campbell... an...and… and... I'm here…to see Blake Shelton, "I managed to say while stuttering through my words.
“Very well then, do you have an appointment with Mr Shelton?" She asked me.
I looked at her, as I was still unsure of how to answer that question.
“Yes, I do." I lied.
''He is expecting me. I'm a really good friend of his." I answered, giving her my best convincing look.
“OK please, have a seat. I will inform his secretary that you are here to see him and she’ll inform him," she replied, still with that smile on her face. I nodded as I walked over to take my seat, waiting for them to call me in.
“Miss Campbell!” The receptionist called out to me soon after.
“Mr Shelton will see you now. He is on the top floor.” the lady said, and I instantly got agitated at the sound of his name, so I nodded and walked over to the elevator, making my way to the top floor.
Stepping into a big luxurious office space, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the place so that I didn't notice the secretary who was trying to get my attention.
“You are here to see Mr Shelton?" the secretary said in a rather rude tone, looking at me from head to toe.
“Yes, I am," I answered, as I tried not to roll my eyes at her.
“Well, have a seat. He is on a business call right now," she said, typing something on her computer.
Moments later...
“You can go in now," the secretary said to me with a serious expression on her face.
“Thank you," I replied, ignoring her rude stare.
Entering his office, I was even more mesmerized by how beautiful it was, from the beautiful paintings to the sculptures and the lights. It looked more sophisticated than the outside of the office. As I looked around, my eyes soon fell on a perfectly built-bodied man.
Although his back was towards me, I could still see his muscles trying to escape from his well-tailored suit.
He soon turned around to look at me with those icy grey eyes that I remembered, and the lust and desire I felt that night came rushing back in. Ignoring the feelings in between my legs, I tried hard to focus on why I had come to see him.
“So, you are Miss Campbell? Please, have a seat. What can I do for you," he said, sitting down at the other end, and looking right at me with those compelling eyes of his.
‘What the f**k? He doesn't remember me? He must’ve f****d a lot of girls within the last month and I am just one of his latest conquests.'' I said to myself, ignoring the pang I felt in my chest.
“Miss Campbell!" He called out to me.
“ Hate to say, but I don't have all day. Tell me why you are here,” he said, now sounding a bit annoyed.
I still didn’t respond. I just stared at him. I’m still shocked that he didn't recognize me.
“Miss Campbell, if you don't have anything to say, I will have to ask you to leave right now," he said, gesturing to the door. I sat still hoping I could say, even if it was just a single word, but still I couldn't bring myself to say why I was here.
‘C’mon, say something. Who cares if he doesn’t recognize you ’, I thought to myself.
“Miss Campbell! Do I need to call security?" He asks, picking up his phone.
“I'm pregnant and it's yours!”
