I couldn't phantom these newfound emotions I was feeling, but my heart continued to break as I watch Blake fight for his life.
As days turned to weeks and weeks to months, Blake's eyes were still closed, leaving me with an unexplainable sadness. As I continued to pray for some kind of miracle.
I never left his side as I continued to sneak in and out of his room, not wanting to miss the time when he finally opened his eyes.
“Hi Blake, I think it is time for you to open your eyes now!" I said, taking hold of his hand as tears clouded my eyes.
