"Wait...what are you doing here?" I ask and look at Cassie. "I didn't realize you knew him in this life." "This life and all of your previous lives. Jim and I are well acquainted." Cassie grins. "What's going on?" I ask warily. Jim strides towards the door and firmly closes it, causing my heart to skip a beat at the sound of the lock clicking into place.
