Did last night really happen? It was most definitely the first question floating at the back of my mind when I blinked my eyes open up a few moments ago. At first, I felt a serene daze come upon me and slowly, everything that went down between Auden and I last night slowly rushed through my head and at once, I felt my cheeks flood with heat at once while my heart thumped against my ribs.
A smile spread out across my face and I bit on my bottom lip while trying not to squeal from the rush of emotions moving through every inch of my insides right now.
I could feel Auden’s arm around my waist, with his chest pressing against my back and I let my eyes fall close while my heart fluttered against my chest.
I wasn’t sure anything could ever beat this, could ever feel better than waking
