Alexa For the second time in ages, I was waking up in a place that I couldn’t recognize at first. It took a few moments to realize that I was no longer left in the dark room to die, the beeping sound of the ECG, the faint voices in my still banging head registered within me. It took a while for my eyes to accommodate to my surroundings at once but when it finally did, I caught sight of a woman standing not too far from where I was. She turned while she was adjusting my drip and the sweetest smile formed on her face. “Where am I?" I whispered. I tried getting up, feeling that fatigued feeling creeping up my soul, so much that I almost couldn’t move. "And how’s my baby??” It was the second question I was asking in the space of seconds and a lot more thoughts were racing through my mind
