Reader’s pov
Auden stepped out of Alexa’s room per her request and ran into Cami on turning sideways. She was eying him curiously.
“Auden? what were you doing in there?" She inquired.
"Nothing really. How about I take you out?" He asked her, forcing a smile on his face. Everything happening all at once was too much for him, it had completely caught him off guard, the drama with Alexa and Cami’s unexpected visit. Worse, she was here to stay.
The two went to a nearby restaurant, reserved only for the elite people in the state.
"So, tell me, what have you been up to since I left?" Cami tried to initiate a discussion between them.
"Nothing much really, just pack duties here and there. Tell me about your trip experience." Andre asked but Cami guessed he seemed to be in a heavy mood.
