Robert a Fairy, A.K.A. Rob, is a charismatic male. He has a passion for research, diplomacy, and yummy males. Even though his magical world is not known to be very accepting of males like him, who are gay. He tends to keep his love status to himself and is still kind of in the closet. He has had some lovers in the past, both males and females, and knows that males are his thing. It is hard to find males who are open to the world knowing who they truly are, although how can he expect to find someone to love when he himself is unwilling to come out.

Derrick is a male guard in the Elite Vampire Guard. He is the epitome of what stereotypically is seen as a heterosexual male. He uses the cover of being a playboy with the females and will take as many to his bed as he can when in reality he can't stand drinking from them. However, in the biological makeup of his species, males can only drink from females and females from males to keep them and their magical gifts strong. Derrick is not content with his life and knows he is missing something, he is just too scared to admit it to himself, exactly what that is.

Put on a quest to find the cure for a fellow friend, Rob and Derrick must work together, for time is running out for their friend, Jasper. Rob cannot deny the pull that Derrick has on him and Derrick finds himself fighting the urge to drink from Rob. What could this mean?
