“Tell me,” Ilrune said as we walked through the Red Forest. “where did you find her?” He asked me as he kept his eyes on Raven as she once again took to guiding us back out of the Red Forest.
We’d left Valveronia the next morning which had been easier than I had thought. Raven had said it was likely because the Ruthless King had figured that she’d already left before then. Still, we remained on guard for the first two days of moving through the Red Forest. Raven had only started to relax as we got further and further from Valveronia without incident.
We knew what to avoid this time around with the exception of Ilrune and thus far had made it through without any serious mishaps. Raven had told me that we were would reach the end of the Red Forest by sunrise, not that I could complete
