Griffins POV:

"Protect the princess!" Dan shouted with all his might. Weve been ambushed by theives of different races. Their numbers outmatched ours. We were surrounded with no where else to go. Dan was frantic and so were the others. I didnt know what to do, it was like my body would not function and move an inch.

"Take Cover!" Lasting I heard before a loud bang was left on the air and smoke filled our circle.

"Misaki! Help Amara!" I shouted in between the chaos and the smoke that was slowly dissipating but I herd clangs of metals which meant the fught has already stareted.

"Ahhh!" rinig ko sa isang tao na pasulong sa akin, holding his sword on his hand and aiming at me. It was one of the thieves.

"Griff!" rinig kong tawag ni Misaki sa kabila nang namumuong usok. It was tough to see but it was slowly clearing out.

"Ok lang ako! just stay with Amara. SIya ang target nila!" sigaw ko pabalik. I held my defense to the one who started to aim at me and I blockjed his attack and so I saw and opening nand slice through his flesh. It was to kill or be killed situation and I finally undersatnd now what I need to do and what i need to achievd. I ran throught the smoke where it was thick and I heard a lot of clangs from where the fight has been most in center. I barely caught Dan in m yeye and he again disappeared on the smoke. Nang sumulong ako aya agad kong winakasan at pinag tatamaan ang mga kalaban na walang awa. Ayoko na maging mahina at ayaw ko na na ako nalang palagi ang kailangan tulungan. Ngayon, Ako nman. I had eniough training and I will put it to good use. Amara has been a huge help to me and it would suck if I do not try to save her life in return.

"Me too, It was the first time I didnt want to be a burden and I wanted to be of use. I wanted to protect you and amara this time." sabi ko. SHe patted my back and we began to check the area together.

It is true, It was the very first time i felt the urge to protect someone with my current power, I knbew I could.

"Dont worry, itr was their choice and they stood by it. they do not blame you, nor you should feel guilty." sabi ko sa kanya./ "
