The Professor's Interest

Chapter 7

LEAH'S POV

As Connor slams the door behind him, I lean against a table, closing my eyes at the words he just threw at me. Maybe if he didn't have to say what he did, we could've perhaps talk about things, I feel very drawn to him like a moth to a flame or like a magnet, and I can't stop thinking about him at all, yet I'm as stubborn as he is too. Anna barges into my dressing room.

'Hey, are you okay? I saw Professor furiously came out of your room, what is he doing here in  any case?' she eyes me curiously as she looks at me in the mirror.

I sigh and turn around to face her, 'well I'm not going to keep things away from you and you better not say anything to anyone, promise?'

'I promise" she says eager to know what's going on.

'so it turns out he perhaps got some feelings for me and well, so do I for him, we kissed a few times and he is one day cold and the next moment he is all caring, it goes like that all the time. I cannot take it when he does that. He thinks I strip here, and he doesn't want me to do those stuff, accused me of kissing men and dancing with them, when he saw me up on stage dancing, he came back here as he was so furious at the idea of me dancing on stage in what I wear after I thought he left with a woman, and when I told him that I wont stop what I'm doing, he said that whatever was between us is over and I should transfer to another class, oh and to mention he is Ryan's brother'

'what?! he is an asshole and s**t, Ryan's brother? wow, you know what Leah lets get going, you are coming with us to Ravings to explore what that place is all about, I heard its all freaky S&M crap there so we want to go check it out'

'I don't think I want to go and explore such a place' I say hesitantly.

Anna pulls me by my hand, 'come on lets go, take our mind off of the professor'

'Connor is his name for public usage please'

We head to Ravings with Talia and Simone, looks like a club from outside, we enter into Ravings, ladies are dancing on poles, people are intimate, hooking up and the space around us is red. Anna holds my hand to drag me all the way inside, like she knows that I might run back outside.

'Anna I don't think we should be here" I say

'just come on, have fun a little bit'

we push through the people in the crowd as we make our way through, air is hot, I bump into Anna as she stops dead in her tracks.

'Leah isn't that Connor over there?"

I look straight and I see Connor standing, with a woman all over him, kissing his neck, well good that he is still wearing his Armani suit, I freeze, my heart breaking more, I never knew that he is into this things, maybe its best that he said it was over, as if he could feel someone staring at him, he looks up straight to me and meets my gaze intensely, that just broke my heart and I storm past the crowd to get out and go home, he calls after me and I run as quick as I can, I do not want him to touch me after that. I run into the street.

'LEAH!" I turned around furiously at him, his eyes are big "LEAH GET OUT OF THE STREET!" my heel broke and as I see a bright light coming towards me, Connor is running to me, and next thing I know, I am flying into a car and back on the ground, my whole body is too painful to move, Connor is at my side and another man is at my side, I hear voices.

'Leah stay with me, everything will be okay' he holds my hand, I try to speak but it hurts, I hear the other man calling an ambulance. I hear Anna by my side too,

'Leah omw, what the hell did you do to her you ass!"

"the ambulance is on there way, I'm sorry I knocked you over Miss, I will take car of everything, don't worry' the other man says. 

'You better take care of everything' Anna says furiously to the man. I hear the ambulance, and I see black.

CONNOR'S POV

This can't be happening again, every time I try to avoid her, s**t happens to her, and its all my fault, I need her to be okay, I really need to talk to her, as I sit with my head in my hands in the waiting room, waiting for any answer, Anna brings me coffee.

'thank you' I take the coffee, Anna sits next to me, drinking her coffee.

'You know Connor, Leah really likes you, I know she wanted to speak to you, but I think this evening at Ravings, you hurt her, so you better pray that she is all right, I am tired of seeing her get hurt every time, so when she is out of the hoods, you better speak to her, do not be the cold bastard you always seem to be with her' she says to me with disgust.

'I will speak to her"

Just then the doctor came out and the man who knocked Leah and took care if everything joins us, I don't really get along with him, but at least he is taking care of things. Anna and I stood up awaiting for any news.

'I'm doctor Trevor, Leah is stable, but she is resting now, she has a couple of broken ribs other than that, she is a fighter, she will be okay.'

I am so relieved to hear that.

'Can I see her doctor?" Anna asks.

'Yes you may" Anna and I go into her room to see her while Daniel Queen, the man who knocked Leah, spoke to the doctor.

My heart aches to see such a precious soul laying there, pale and beeps of machines. I really need her to wake up, I made the mistake of my life to leave her. I need to speak to her and make it up to her for once and for all. This time I am serious to have her.
