The bell rang signaling that class is over. I put my things inside my bag--- just kidding, I didn't use anything; I was busy getting bothered by how Felix acted.
I know he's just messing up with me since I messed up with him too. I won't lose anyway... Let him do his game, I'll play along.
"Hey let's go, it's lunch time already" Wendy said as she took her bag and stood up to get out of the classroom. I quickly stood up to catch up to her when suddenly someone caught my hand preventing me to walk
“Wha---” I stopped as I recognized the person holding it, I saw Wendy stopping from my peripheral view and looked towards our direction. I can’t see her face properly so I can’t tell how she reacted
“Let’s go eat together” he said as he smiled at me and stood up without letting go of my hand... even wierder
“I’m going with my friend, I’m so sorry but ship has sailed” I responded and tried to pull my hand off from him but his grip is too tight for me to claim my hand back
“There’s always a room for a plus one” he insisted with his smile again, urgh! I hate that smile, he’s so fake, and it’s too obvious… just what the… and what is he up to anyway?
“Look, I’m so sorry about earlier, I really am” I said as I tried pulling my hand again, but to no success, he’s still holding it tightly “If you’re doing this to get back at me becuase of what I did, please stop… whatever you’re up to” I stated as calm as I can to let him stop, gosh! I hate him so much…
He leaned closer to me while pulling my hand around his waist
“No” he bowed down to reach my ear and whispered then smiled at me nicely again when he faced me…uurrrggghhhh!!!! I hate him sooo much! How I wish he’d be dead.
“Ew bro, what are you doing?” I heard a familiar voice inside the classroom, we both looked at him, and it’s his friend with a disgusted look “Stop it ahahaha” he added
“What?” he just said innocently as if he’s not doing anything wrong… God please help me… I wish I could just disappear at this moment. I hate Felix so much!
“Let’s go” Felix said and pulled my hand as he walked towards the door
“No, let go” I stated firmly and didn’t bother to follow him, he quickly turned to me with a mere surprised look
“What was that?” he asked me to repeat myself as he grinned, I just rolled my eyes and sighed
“I said---”
“Nonsense” he interrupted me while I try to repeat what I just said… he’s so rude, like every negative attitude are in him… a total package... I don't understand why people love him
“What’s wrong with you!?” I asked irritably as I tried to pull my hand away, but he didn’t let go of it again… this is so annoying…
“Hey, she said let go” I heard another voice of a man stormed the classroom again. I looked at the direction of the door and saw Chan in his straight face. Oh no! Chan… this is bad… Could this day get even worse?
“What are you gonna do, huh?” Felix responded mockingly as he looked at him with his annoying face, well, effortlessly he looks annoying
“Why don’t you just let her go?” Chan repeated in a louder and more terrifying voice, Felix set my hand free at that instant
“Ok, as you wish” he said and walked straight out of the room and bumped Chan’s shoulder as he leaves… how dare he! I heard Chan grunted lowly indicating that it was a bit hard…
“Asshole” Chan snapped as he walked towards me “Are you alright?” he asked as he approached
“Yea I’m fine” I answered as I smiled faintly at him to assure him I’m telling the truth
“Hey guys, I’m so sorry about my friend ok?” the platinum blonde guy said before he went out of the classroom to follow his friend, we just nodded at him as he walked on
“Let’s go, before we miss lunch” Wendy said awkwardly as she broke the silence that surrounds the atmosphere
“Yea, let’s go” I said and walked towards her to avoid looking at Chan, his image still hurts me…
We all sat in a corner in the cafeteria as we got our food, actually we didn’t buy food from the cafeteria, we brought it ourselves. Wendy’s mom is a great cook and she cooks for us so that we don’t have to buy food in the cafeteria.
She always cooks food that Wendy brought for our lunch, trust me it’s so delicious. And for the record, food here sucks. Good thing Wendy always bring food for us, or else I have to eat the cafeteria’s food… or is it even a food? Yuck… I don’t wanna eat it at all.
We just ate our food silently. It’s not so me to eat silent actually, I always have something to talk about during lunch time, but I don’t feel so much to talk right now.
I guess it’s my fault that our lunch table went so awkward. I don’t care, I don’t wanna talk.
I just stared at the last bite of my food and sighed before I put it inside my mouth. Gosh! Why can’t I stop thinking about Chan?
“Irene”
“Hey! I’m talking to you, are you sure you’re alright?” I snapped out of my deep thoughts as I heard Wendy calling me, I turned to her immediately to see what’s she’s saying “Are you ok? Is there something wrong with the food? Don’t you like it?” she asked continuously with her worried face
“I’m alright, the food’s amazing, as usual” I denied softly and stacked all our plates in one corner and cleaned the table
“You don’t seem so, tell me” she insisted as she put his hand behind me and looked at me intently
“Look, I’m fine… I really am, you don’t have to worry about me” I reassured them so that they’ll stop asking… but I know Wendy, she won’t stop until she’s sure enough that everything’s really fine here
“Does it have something to do with that guy?” she asked again which I responded with a shrug saying it’s not and signaled him towards Chan.
She followed my gaze that made her eyes went half closed wondering what it means. Chan was in his phone the whole time so he didn’t know we were talking about him
“Is that what you’re about to tell me?” she asked as she figured out what I told her before
“Yea” I shortly answered “Later, ok?” I added “Felix doesn’t bother me anyway, he doesn’t deserve my attention, duhh” I continued with a snappy tone
“Well, speaking of sis, I think he’s heading this way” she said looking at something behind me, I followed her gaze and saw what’s coming this way… my eyes rolled as I sighed abruptly as I saw him again… not again! do I have to see him again like all of the time!? I am full of negative emotions this day… just great!
“Don’t look at him Wendy, just ignore him” I said as I quickly avoided my eyes from him and started to dig on my phone as an excuse if ever he’ll cut in
“But he’s looking at you” Wendy said as she avoided her gaze away from him too
“I don’t care just ignore him” I whispered at her as I went back to my phone
“Hey” a low voice suddenly called everyone’s attention in the cafeteria. I know he’s actually calling me because I can feel he’s just right behind me but he’s voice is just so loud and he’s presence is just so magnetic.
The whole room went silent as I felt a lot of eyes shifted to our direction. I don’t think he had a natural loud voice, it’s too obvious that he did that on purpose “How’s lunch?” he grabbed the chair next to me and sat on it facing my direction
“It was amazing, don’t ruin the mood” I snapped and stood up to leave this place
“Wait!” he exclaimed as he grabbed my hand again “I just came and you’re leaving?” he asked with his right eyebrow raised
“Obviously?” I said sarcastically and snatched my hand back, gosh! Good thing he’s not holding on to it as tight as earlier
“Rude” he shortly said and pouted his lips in front of me… eww he looked ugly… well he is ugly but it doesn’t suit him actually
“Cut that out, you looked awful” I said that made him laugh
“What is it this time?” Chan asked all of a sudden, I looked at him to see his angry face again
“What do you care? I’m not after you anyway” Felix stated as his eyebrows curled looking at Chan
“Shut up and stop bothering her” Chan said firmly as his jaw clenched glaring at Felix
“Gosh! Stop it, you guys are so dramatic, I thought this only happens on TV” I interrupted the both of them “Chan stop, as if this guy would get me, duhh” I said looking at Chan “And you” I uttered as I shifted my gaze towards Felix “Stop it already, you’re so freakin' annoying” I said irritably and moved my chair so that I can get out of here
“Let’s go” I literally gasped as Chan quickly grabbed my hand and stormed outside the cafeteria pulling me out of there, I saw Wendy stood up and ran following us.
I also noticed Felix’s face turned furious at the same time shocked due to what happened… I don’t know what to react, I just followed where Chan is bringing me.
