Hayley POV
I walk back toward the castle. I still don't know if I can trust the warlock but what other choice do I have. He never said he was a warlock but who else would have such power. I can still feel his magic even though the marks are gone. As soon as I reach the castle, I notice Bryce and some of the other warriors are gathered. They are barking orders about a breach. I try not to make eye contact as I head for the entrance. "Hayley" he calls out but I don't stop. I take the steps two at time and pray he isn't following me.
