Janet let out a groan at the mention of Una. And then her cobalt blue eyes narrowed in on Nick abruptly, as she recalled what Una had hinted at and she had discovered he’d been hiding from her. Meanwhile, Nick’s green eyes hardened and he looked at Janet with a scowl. Angry green onyx clashed against the dazzling blue hues of a stormy sea as the two tried to stare off each other. “Is all Sally good for is being your spy?” Nick asked sternly. “She can’t even tell Una to stay away when you’re sleeping?” Nick barked out. He shook his head. “She should be at your beck and call, not the other way around,” Nick ended dryly. “Be that as it may,” Janet retorted coolly making Nick realise her expression of displeasure was directed at him and not at Una.
