As Janet stood in front of the mirror, she couldn't help but feel nervous. She had never done anything like this before, and even though tonight was just about going to explore the club, Janet couldn’t help but feel like she might mess everything up. Nick’s wolf was on edge about everything, which put her on edge too.
“You sure this is what you want to wear?” Aideen asked nervously.
Janet had purposefully sent her other maids away instructing that only Aideen would be helping her tonight. Sally had seemed curious but shrugged it off, while Esha was happy to have the night off. Janet smoothed down the black lace dress she'd chosen for tonight. Aideen had helped her style her hair so it fell down in her natural curls.
“I’m sure,” Janet said, taking in a deep breath and reaching for the
