Janet was taken aback as she reached her car after classes at University and saw Jerrod sitting in the backseat.
“What are you doing here?” Janet asked warily.
She hadn’t seen much of him since the night Nick had been poisoned. No doubt, he’d been working on other important matters. The last few weeks had been filled with nights of passion with Nick, days of laughter and a lot of avoiding Una. Una herself had been dealing with some important matters. Apparently there was a big event coming up soon and Una was still in-charge of those duties. Nick had said until Janet finished university, they wouldn't put her in charge of any offiical Luna duties.
