“Keirah...the biomedical engineer ran away just after you left the warehouse. And my two boys and babies who were chasing after her. Where found dead. Someone killed them brutally .”
I study my uncle's facial expression and see that he has doubts. He is not sure I have her. And he is scared. The style of killing his men and dog went through wasn't my signature style.
He met his match.
Then why is he here?
“We searched everywhere, and nothing was alerting until we came to Casablanca inside your private elevators. You have gotten into trouble taking the cams off today.
“It was all planned by you. You are the person behind her disappearance. Isn't that right Bullet?” My uncle speaks, looking directly into my eyes with a daring look.
“I did not shut down the camera. A crazy woman who tried to kill me. Shot the camera down yesterday. you can check up with James on the recordings from yesterday.” I raise my eyes at him. With a cynical facial expression.
“We have men searching everywhere for her. We shall get that w***e. It doesn't matter if she is here with you in Casablanca or not.” Every time Cement speaks, I want to take a gun and shove it into his mouth. Keirah is not a w***e.
The purity in her is so high for me that whenever Cement insults her, I feel like I can't hold myself together. I should just shoot him in the head. Then I won't have to deal with him anymore.
I have always hated Cement since the day we met five years ago.
But recently Cement is crossing all the boundaries I set up, and he is too much for my nerves.
“Come to think of it, we have had every other cartel covering everywhere for the last six hours. There is no escape for that w***e. The escape route and the only remaining escape route start from here at your penthouse and from you.
“Because there is not any trace of her ever stepping out on any ground in this city.”
“Are you trying to say something, Cement?”
I can't hold it anymore. I owe nothing to this lunatic. I speak, already holding Cement by the collar with more fury in my eyes.
My eyes are red, and everyone in the room knows the bullet is on its way out. “Bullet... Stop… I need to know what she knows. Just the coordinates and I am done with her.”
My uncle speaks in a defensive voice. “This is as much your business as it is mine. We are the Solana’s.” I raise my face to my uncle. The perfect likeness to my father. From his looks to his behavior. To his possessiveness.
My uncle is shaking with anger visible even while he is standing still. My uncle only cared when something assured him or kept him on the top of the business chain. By the looks of it, she is troubling him as much.
I have not seen him this troubled unless he was worried about his drug dealing, kidnapping, prostitution, and smuggling. Like every unhuman ugly, bad crap out there he was swimming through.
Watching him up close like this. I am assured Things are getting out of hand. He is using everything at his disposal to find her.
They have searched the whole city in just the few hours which I have been with her. This is way beyond what I had expected. This means Keirah is the most wanted woman in our world at this moment.
The Solanas are untouchable.
If my uncle is looking for Keirah, no one except for me in the entire world would protect her from him. He always gets what he wants, and no one wants to be on his bad side.
“You pretend not to hurt women, girls, and children. But this girl is ours. I know you have that w***e in your bedroom. Doing her job. What she was born to do. Suck men's d***s. But she has what the boss wants. And what the boss wants, he gets.”
Cement speaks again as my uncle lights another cigar. My uncle is panicking as he paces in the room and walks out onto the penthouse's balcony.
“If you are sure she is in here, where is she? What is stopping you from finding her? You can start with my bedroom first. I see you are bent on believing she is there. She is no harm to me, that I can assure you. I don't care where she is and what she is doing….”
I am not done speaking and Cement is already running and opening the rooms to my penthouse searching door after door.
When he gets to the bedroom, James, who I hadn't noticed, has joined us, walks in the first steps to stop Cement, but my uncle and Concrete are faster, and they all push their way into the bedroom.
“She is not here!” Cement exclaims.
Cement moves around the room to the bathroom and everywhere, searching. When James tries to stop him, I hold James back.
Signaling him to let go.
The first rule I set up when I took over the penthouse was for no one to set foot in the penthouse without my permission. Unless I was no longer in a peaceful arrangement with my uncle.
And for the past five years, no one of my uncle's men has set foot in the room they are standing in.
I knew a day would come when my uncle would come around. So, I built security systems and a secret bedroom inside my bedroom that no one knew about except for James.
“Cement… Stop…. Stop trembling all over Luciano's private space.” James announces.
“You are all done here. Please leave my house now. I am going to sleep now.” I speak with my eyes fixed on Cement. “And Zio, you broke our arrangement for no good reason. You know the consequences, but before I act on that, I want to know why?”
“Cement GET OUT.” My uncle shouts out of defense. And says no more, only a signal for Concrete to follow him on the way out. I walk behind my uncle, who is the last one to leave. I close the door after my uncle sets foot out of my penthouse door.
And signal James to walk with me into my secret bedroom, quietly so as to not wake Keirah up. She is still sound asleep. I pick up my laptop and we sit by the sofa watching my uncle and his goons as they speak.
Turn on the CCTV cameras and we listen to their plans.
“Boss, something is off. He was bluffing. She is not here, but he knows where she is.”
“If we don't find her in the next six hours, we will never find her. Bring the girl to me alive. Do not touch a hair on her.”
“But she was on Agra. She wouldn't have made it far,” Concrete speaks.
“She has support. If she didn't, we would have found her dead body just like all the other girls.”
“Make sure you get all the airports, private and public all covered, CCTV cameras from the whole city. And make sure everyone knows her face. Put enough money for the locals to smoke her out wherever she is hiding.
“Or whoever is hiding her to get scared? From now on until forever, if you don't get her or get my codes, no one among you can sleep. BRING HER TO ME.” My uncle commands.
He raises his head, and then he sees the CCTV cameras he then pulls Concrete, and Cement out of the penthouse, and continues speaking.
“Cement, you are on James's duty to make sure you report everything that dog does. Leave nothing unturned and any lead unsearched. No one is sleeping today until you find her.
“She's very smart. And someone powerful is helping her. And I want to know who has grown the guts to do that. Kill whoever has helped her in any way from me. And assign more men to come here at Casablanca and search for her.”
