It was Luca's father, the pack leader, his eyes blazing with fury. "Leave him alone!" he growled, his voice echoing through the forest. The coven leader sneered, but she knew she was outmatched. With a snarl, she vanished into the night, her followers close behind. Luca's father turned to him, his expression softening. "Are you okay, son?" Luca nodded, still shaken. "Thanks, Dad. I owe you one." His father's expression turned stern. "You're coming with me, Luca. We need to talk." As they walked back to the pack's den, Emilia followed, her heart heavy. She knew she couldn't stay with Luca, not now that their families were at war. But she couldn't bear to leave him either. At the den, Luca's father turned to him, his voice low. "Luca, I know you love her. But she's a vampire. They're our enemies." Luca stood tall, his heart pounding. "I don't care, Dad. I'll do whatever it takes to be with her." His father sighed, his expression sad. "Then you're no longer part of us again... Luca's father's words hung in the air like a challenge. Luca knew that leaving the pack would mean giving up everything he had ever known. But he also knew that he couldn't live without Emilia. With a heavy heart, Luca made his decision. "I'll leave," he said, his voice firm. "I'll be with Emilia, no matter what." His father's face fell, but he nodded. "Then go," he said. "But know that you'll always be my son, no matter what." Luca turned and walked away, Emilia by his side. They vanished into the night, ready to face whatever lay ahead. As they disappeared into the darkness, Luca's father let out a sigh.
