He picks her up at her apartment. They are both casually dressed. The restaurant is friendly and comfortable. They order the spaghetti with meat sauce; Eric orders a glass of Chianti wine for Christine and himself. The food is delicious and plentiful. With the soup, salad, and bread, they are full before the spaghetti arrived. They leave the restaurant pleasantly stuffed and have enough spaghetti for lunch, the next day, in their doggy box. When they leave the restaurant, it is early in the evening. There is quite a crowd of people lining the streets. Eric had planned dinner to coincide with the annual Christmas parade down Main Street.
