I’d been listening to my brother ramble for over an hour, digging my fingers into the kitchen countertop to keep from sprouting claws. My eyes were locked on Trinity, but no matter how long I stared, she wouldn’t look at me. It was driving me insane. With a wave of jealousy, I scowled at Eisen.
He was absolutely oblivious, busy pointing out different points of weakness on an aerial map of the Ahtone’s property.
