Chapter 2Zev looked at Otis, and for a moment he was curious. He had long dark hair, was short and slim, and his face…he could almost have been mistaken for a woman with his androgynous looks. Vampires couldn’t change their appearances. Sure, they could cut their hair or shave if they had a beard, but when they woke for the night, they looked the same as they had when they died.
