Gerald was fixing the cords while I was arranging the cue cards. Fierce had already texted me enough to stay away from Gerald but I couldn’t because he’s supposed to be my partner-in-charge for tonight. We had to arrange and make sure that the program goes as planned.
The music suddenly changed to a mellow one. The emcee had announced that everyone could dance to this song and so a lot of pairs have stepped up on the dance floor, swaying to the David Pomeranz song.
“Wow! Isn’t that the nerd in class?” I heard one of the students near the stadium.
“What the? What is she doing talking to my Fierce Bradley?” Another one spoke with pure disgust in her voice.
