Dominic: “What changed?” Liana asked, raising an eyebrow at me as the two of sat on plastic chairs in front of one of the food trucks eating fries. “You suddenly had a change of heart, I am curious why.” “You don’t let anything slide, do you?” I asked, and she shook her head. “With a man like yourself, in a world like the one that we live in, it is best not to let anything slide. I would end up losing more than I can afford if something happens, and that is not what I want to think about dealing with.
