I was standing in the most beautiful cave I had ever seen. There was ice every where and even though it was cold I could not stop staring at it. "Where am I?" I said out loud not expecting anyone to answer.
"Eisriesenwelt and how did you get in here?" A male voice said behind me.
I quickly turned around and saw the most handsome man I had ever seen. He was tall just wearing low cut jeans that allowed me to see his abs. His hair was dark brown and his eyes were black. I just stood there.
"Who our you and where did you come from?" He said with a alpha tone.
"I, I, I am Skylar and I am not sure. I was at school and I felt funny then I was here." I said. He just stared at me. "Who our you?" I asked.
"I am Tristan."
I kept looking around. "It is so beautiful here I didn't know we had caves in Haven." I said.
"Haven the mythical Realm the moon goddess created for all her beloved creatures." He said with a venomous tone.
"It is not mythical. I live in Haven in the pack village."
"Very funny. Everyone knows Haven was a lie. A myth the humans used to kill out the remaining witches and wolves."
"I swear to you I live in Haven. If this is not Haven then where am I? " I asked. The man just looked at me like I was crazy.
"Eisriesenwelt cave in Australia." He stepped closer to me and his eyes went from black to gold.
"Your eyes they change like mine but they our more yellow." I said but before he could say anything everything began to vanish.
"Skylar wake up." I heard someone say. "Skylar!" Pause. "Skylar!" Pause. "Skylar" the voice kept repeating. I opened my eyes and a women was standing over me. She was an elderly lady. White hair, glasses but had that loving trust worthy arora surrounding here.
"Ah there you our you had us worried. I am Doctor Lee" The women said as she backed up and began to write in her chart.
I sat up and looked around. "Where am I?" I asked.
"The women looked at me. "Honey you passed out at school. Bumped that head of yours too. You our at the hospital."
"Oh. Is my mom here?" I asked. I knew the man Tristan was not real and was a dream. I was kinda disappointed.
"Yes she is. I will go and get her. I'll also have the nurse bring you some food and take your vitals." She said and left the room. I sat back on the bed.
'He was yummy.' My wolf said.
'Yes he was. I hope our mate is just as good looking if not better.' I said.
"Hey baby." I screamed. "Oh my goddess honey our you ok." She said. My heart was racing in my chest and I looked up and saw my mom.
" Oh you scared me. I did not hear you come in." I said.
My mom came and sat on my bed. "Want to tell me what happened baby." She said as she ran her hands through my hair.
"I'm not sure. I went to school and I did not sense my mate but when I was in science class I began to feel weird. Then I woke up here. Worst birthday ever" I said.
"Oh honey I am going to go talk to the doctor see if you can come home tonight." She said. I nodded my head yes to her and then she got up and left the room.
-The next day-
I had to stay the night in the hospital and I was a little disappointed I did not dream of Tristan but when I get home I need to start packing for the gathering.
The doctor has already checked my head and they said I am fine. I feel gitty and so does my wolf. I got up off the bed and headed into the bathroom and showered. When I was done showering and dressed I walked out of the bathroom and my mom was sitting on the bed. "hey mom."
She looked up. "Hey baby ready to go home?"
"I am." I said with a big smile on my face.
"I'm sorry you spent your birthday in the hospital." She said as she stood up and gave me a hug.
"It's ok mom." I said as I pulled out of her embrace and we began to walk out of the room and towards the front door of the hospital. It took us twenty minutes to walk home and before we walked in my mom stopped and looked at me.
"Honey our you sure you ok enough to go to the gathering?" She asked.
"Ya mom why." I said.
"Because honey you will have to leave tonight to start making your way there. The alpha is wanting to leave in two hours." She said.
"Oh I was hoping to have more time. But will you help me pack?" I asked her.
"Of course."
So that is how my mom and I spent the next hour and a half going through my clothes, packing them and enjoying each others company. When it was time for me to leave I hugged her and made my way to the pack house. Alpha Gavin and Luna Blare will escort all the single wolves to the Palace of Gatherings. It will take a day and a half to get there in wolf form. As I approached the pack house all the members who our sixteen and up were waiting there. As the last of the teens made there way to the pack house two females found there mates with the older single men. And when I mean older like twenty years old.
"Welcome everyone and I am happy to see two happy couples come together. You four our free to go." He waited for them to walk away. "Ok the rest of you. Go shift into your wolf and grab your bag. We head out in five."
I walked over to a tree and stripped. I put my clothes into a small bag and thought of my wolf. My bones began to break and my skin turned into auburn wolf. I picked up the bag and walked over to my luggage and placed into my mouth.
A few minutes later the alpha and luna came out in there wolf forms and we all headed towards the woods and began our journey.
