Things are about to change

I took off full speed across the ring, by the time I hit the tree line Scarlet had taken the reigns and we shifted mid jump over a log. I surrendered to Scarlet, she was so excited to be out and running free. She was right, I hadn’t let her out in quite some time. I felt bad, I just never had enough energy or time for us to frolic like this. I was normally bent over my desk with a pile of schoolwork to get through. Scarlet let out loud howl as we neared the lake. The breeze was crisp and cool against our face, it felt amazing. The sun was shining down on the water, illuminating the trees that we breezed right past.

She beamed back at me.

Yes it’s amazing! The sights and smells are captivating!

I smiled at myself, I’m so glad that we got to spend time out and about today.

I was so lost in the scenery that I hadn’t noticed another wolf blocking the path. I had to scream to Scarlet who was lost in her own world

SCARLET look out!

Scarlet woke up from her day dream and dug her paws into the fresh dirt as  we came to an abrupt halt. Scarlet sunk herself to the ground and started to whimper. We raised our eyes up to this enormous beast. His fur was pitch black, his golden eyes stared directly back into my emerald green. He just stood there and stared at us. Suddenly my whole body started to tingle, Scarlet slowly rose us from the ground and laid her ears back, to our surprise he actually bowed down in front of us.

Scarlet, I don't understand what's happening. What's going on?

**GAVIN’S POV**

I was taken aback by this wolf, her color was a beautiful copper brown. She was muscular and fit, I could tell she was a warrior. What struck me the most were her deep green eyes. They were spectacular. She was cowering on the ground for some reason, was she intimidated by me? My wolf Peter was entranced, he wasn’t talking or moving. He was just staring straight ahead.

Peter, what’s going on man?

Are you stupid dude, she’s our mate! He was bouncing up and down in my head. We found her! she's so beautiful. She smells fantastic, do you smell it?

That's when I noticed the most amazing scent his my nostrils. Lavender and honey, it was delectable. 

Once we locked eyes she slowly rose to her feet

Bow down to our goddess.

I did what peter told me to, I slowly lowered my head to make her more at ease.

It's working, she just laid her ears back, she taking us in. 

I lifted my head and looked into her gorgeous emerald green eyes. I needed to see her, I needed to touch her and run my fingers across her skin. I took a step forward and started circling her, I could smell the sweet scent of lavender and honey radiating from her body. That’s when I felt it, the warmth that coursed through my body. I didn’t even know her, but I needed her. I would do anything for her, I would die for her. When I came back up towards her neck I lightly nudged under her muzzle so her head tilted up to meet my gaze. My entire body was made of jell-o. I needed to see her beautiful face. I pressed my forehead to hers and she closed her eyes before she exhaled. I felt the light pressure and then the snap, I think we just linked, I decided to try.

Hello beautiful. I didn’t get anything at first but suddenly I heard her. My angel, my world.

Hello yourself.

I looked at her eyes, they were dancing with mischief, my god I had to meet her. I hope she agrees to this.

**STELLA’S POV**

I was in complete and utter shock, my body began to tremble, it takes a lot for me to feel intimidated. I was practically shaking in my boots, I had no idea what was happening but I like it. The mystery wolf slowly lifted his head to look into our eyes. I was mesmerized, I couldn’t move. He was easily 8’ tall in wolf form, but his eyes were kind, it made me relax a little bit more. He took a small step towards me and I tensed up again, anticipating his next move.

How are you doing down there Scarlet? She didn’t answer, she wasn’t even paying attention.

Woo hoo! Scarlet, can you hear me girly? Finally Scarlet answered.

Yeah girl I’m here, I just can’t take my eyes off of him.

He started circling us, taking in our scent, I felt my back legs shaking. Every nerve ending was on fire, it took every ounce of will power to not follow him as he came back around near my neck. He tilted my nuzzle up and stared into my face. He pressed his forehead against mine and I closed my eyes to take in his sweet aroma, he smelled like coconut and sandalwood, it was heavenly. I felt a small pinch and knew that we were now linked. It was silent for just a moment and then his deep, sexy voice echoed in my mind.

Hello beautiful

My mind shut off but Scarlet quickly barked at me to snap me back into focus

He looked into his eyes and saw a sparkle of amusement.

Should we shift so I can see the beautiful goddess in front of me?

I didn’t want to meet him for the first time completely naked. I know all purchases are final but I didn't want that to be our first encounter. Then it hit me, I had a much better idea. I wanted to tease him a little and make it more suspenseful. 

I don’t know if your quite ready for that, my curves can be a lot to handle.You may not be able to keep your hands off of me.

Oh believe me, I don’t plan on ever taking my hands off of you again after today.

There was a small flicker of lust that sprang across his eyes. My whole body stared to crumble, Scarlet was there with some encouragement. 

Stay strong girly, stick with the plan. I suppressed my urges and tried to focus.

I have a more civilized way to meet. My mother is throwing a welcome home party for me tonight at the Blue Moon Pack house. You are more than welcome to come, if we truly are mates, you’ll find me.

I turned around, flicked my tail in his face and looked over my shoulder before I took off towards the house.

**GAVIN’S POV**

I couldn't believe she just ran away like that. I loved that she flicked her tail at me, I love girls that are playful. I wanted to her take off after her, but I didn't want to scare her. I knew I had to find her, I would find her. I was going to meet my goddess tonight, and I would never let her go. Peter chimed in as she disappeared from sight.

Fuck dude, I can’t wait to see her again. Let’s head back and get ready, we’ve got a party to get to.

**STELLA’S POV**

I quickly shifted back as I hit the clearing, I was sweaty and breathless. I clutched my chest before bending down to brace my hands on my knees. Alex ran over to me from the house, “Stell, are you okay?” I nodded while trying to catch my breath. I waved him off so I could have more space to breath. I stood up and inhaled deeply. I relaxed my shoulders and Alex walked me into the house.

Alex was relentless, "You still didn't answer my question. Are you alright? It looks like you just saw a ghost." I took a sip of water, and shook my head. I was still regaining my balance, my brain knew to still to my guns, but my body wanted to sprint back to him. I took a big gulp, "Not ghost, my mate." Alex bugged his eyes, "Then what are you doing here, go get him!" he was yelling, I flew my hand up over his mouth, "Shut up, I want to keep this quiet. You are the only person that knows, I want to keep it that way. At least for now, you got it?" Alex nodded his head with my hand still slapped across his mouth. "I have to go get ready, he's coming to the party tonight to see me in human form, I guess I should look a little more than presentable." Alex started to get excited again like he was going to scream again. I shot him a death glare and he instantly calmed himself. My mind wandered to what I wanted to wear. I had to make a good first impression. 

When I got to my room, I jumped in the shower and washed up. I went to my closet and picked out my outfit for the party. I decided on a two piece, black bondage dress. I slide into the waist high skirt, it was perfect. With my long legs, every dress I wore would look too short. Not this one, it ran the entire length of my hips and stopped right above my knee. The separate halter had thick criss-cross straps that created a keywhole pattern right over my cleavage. I pulled the halter top over my head and straightened it over my full breasts. The small gap between the two pieces exposed a little bit of tummy but it was at the smallest part of my waist. I knew mom would be happy with my choice. I loved this material, it hugged me in all of the right places. I felt classy while having a dash of s*x appeal. I loved how this outfit showed off my full sleeve of tattoos. Overall, it was the perfect outfit for tonight, I already knew that I belonged to someone, so there was no point in trying to be modest anymore. Now I just had to go fix my mug.

 I stepped back into my bathroom and started on my makeup. I wanted to keep to my edgier look with an elongated cat eye and a bright red lip. I slipped my gold hoops into each ear before I let down my curls. They were actually behaving today so I decided to leave them be. I took a step back and looked at myself in the mirror. I felt like a women, no wait, I was a goddess. Any man that can’t handle these curves and my hips, does not deserve my body. I hope my mate approves of the way I look.

When I got into the hallway, I heard a lot of voices downstairs. The one that stood out the most was Alex. He was talking Conner and Matt at the bottom of the stairs. I walked over to the landing and took a deep breath. When I was half way down the stairs, I felt everyone’s eyes on me. I smiled as sweetly as I could. I stopped on one of the last steps so I could address my guests.

“I know right? I clean up good!” The room erupted in laughter, “In all seriousness, I want to thank you you all for being here to celebrate my homecoming, it is so good to be home. I look forward to catching up with all of you! Please enjoy yourselves!” the room was roaring with applause. I congregated with my brother’s at the bottom of the stairs.I wanted some bro time before we all ended up going out separate ways.

  “How did I do?” they all gave me reassuring nods. Conner was the first to speak “You were great Stell! You look incredible. I’m going to have to follow you around to make sure these men keep their hands to themselves” Conner slowly started surveying the crowd. Alex wrapped his arm around my shoulder, “Calm down Conner, Stella’s a big girl, I know she can take care of herself.” I looked up at Alex and gave him a shy smile, and he shot me a wink before his eyes glazed over. He turned his attention to the crowd, “Lex, what is it? Is something wrong?” I asked. Alex didn’t respond right away, I asked again. “Alexander, what’s going on.” without looking, he answered, "There she is?" we all exchanged looks before we followed  his gaze  across the room. He was locked onto this gorgeous, petite thing with long brown flowing curls. She was standing against one of the large windows across the room. Her gaze was locked on Alex as he slowly made his way through the sea of people. The three of us exchanged looks before Matt spoke up, “well I guess we’re all on our own now. He’s a goner.” I started to blush, I didn’t know if I should tell them that I met my possible mate in the woods this afternoon. Conner noticed my silence, “Stella, you okay?” I turned beet red and shrugged my shoulders. “Stella Ann Schmidt, spill it. Now.” I took a big gulp.

“Well, Scarlet wanted to go for a run after we woke up from our nap. I decided to take the path along the lake. I happened upon another wolf, and I had this connection with him. I think I may have found my mate.” their mouths dropped open, “I invited him to the party tonight, I don’t know if he’ll show up. I don’t think that he is a member of our pack, I remember his scent. I’m hoping that it resurfaces soon. I never thought that I would find a mate, and now there’s a possibility that I might be a goner too.” the three of us scanned back over the room until we saw Alex with his mate. They were already face deep in each other. I couldn’t even see the girl, Alex had swallowed up her body like a tidal wave consuming a surfer.  “Come on boys, let’s give them their privacy. I have to go find mother anyway.”

We all headed in different directions. I headed to the kitchen in search of mom and dad. I eventually found them nuzzled up with each other in the far side of the room. I cleared my throat and they broke apart from each other. Mom quickly collected herself and dad smoothed out his hair, “Darling! That was some speech you gave, I am so incredibly proud of you and you look stunning.” mother leaned forward and kissed my cheeks. “Thank you mom, I just wanted to come over and thank you for the party before we all got swept away.” mother nodded with a smile, “You’re very welcome my love.” she dropped her voice and leaned in for a whisper,”so tell me darling, anyone that catches your eyes?” I blushed at her.

“Well, mother I wanted to tell you about something that happened earlier this afternoon-” and that’s when it hit me. Coconut and Sandalwood drifted through the air, I could smell it from a mile away. Scarlet shot up and start hopping around,

He’s here, he’s here Stella, I can smell him. He is so intoxicating.

Mother placed her hand on my forearm, “darling, are you alright?” My eyes drifted off, I was trying to pin point where the delicious aroma was coming from. I heard my mother address my father, “Steven, it think it's happening.” I eventually turned around completely to scan the room. I felt my body respond instantly to the sight of him. His eyes were locked on me. I had prickles from my toes to my ears, my whole body felt like it was on fire. Suddenly my feet started to move across the floor, I wasn’t in control of my body anymore. I felt like I floated through the crowd to him. His golden eyes flickered like two tiny flames as he mind f****d me. His bulging muscles were covered in tribal tattoos. His long black hair was tied up into a neat bun on top of his head. He had such striking features, I noticed a scar on his left eyebrow and several scars on his upper arms. I was about half way across the room when Scarlet started to drool and whimper, she wanted him, I wanted him. I suddenly felt my center moisten, I could feel the drip in my panties. His once golden eyes suddenly turned pitch black, like a shark that smells blood in the water before it attacks. A small smirk spread across his face, I knew he could smell my arousal from here. He licked his lips as I got closer. I bit down on my lower lip as I reached him. He was at least 6’5, I had to crank my neck just to look up at him. He looked down, his eyes were transitioning back to their golden brown. We just stood there staring at each other. Scarlet was howling inside my head, she could hardly contain herself.

“My goddess, you were right. I did find you, and oh how intoxicating you are. Please tell me your name, I need to hear it.” My whole mouth went try, I didn’t think I would be able to speak, but I some how got it out.

“My name is Stella Ann Schimdt, daughter of Alpha Steven of the Blue Moon Pack.” He closed his eyes and inhaled, no doubt sucking in more of my arousal, god there is nothing that I wouldn’t let him do to me. He reached up and tucked some loose curls behind my ear and grazed the side of my face.I could feel my walls come down the instant he touched my skin. 

 I pushed my cheek further into his hand and looked up at him through my lashes. He placed his finger under my chin and raised my head to look me in the eyes. “I, Alpha Gavin Richard Mitchell of Silver Moon pack accept you, Stella Ann Schmidt, daughter of Alpha Steven of Blue Moon Pack as my mate.” without breaking eye contact, I knew what I had to do,

“I, Stella Ann Schmidt, daughter of Alpha Steven of Blue Moon Pack accept you, Alpha Gavin Richard Mitchell of Silver Moon Pack as my mate.” A smile spread across Gavin’s face as I spoke the words that would bind me to him for the rest of our lives. When I finished, he placed his hand in my hair and pulled me to his lips. I had to rise up on my toes to keep my lips to his. The kiss was was so full of passion and heat that I almost collapsed on the floor in front of him. Luckily his strong arms were holding me up. Gavin slipped his tongue into my mouth and explored every inch. A small growl escaped his lips, no doubt from my apparent arousal. I could feel how wet I was for him. I wouldn’t care if he bent me over right here and marked me. His one hand made it’s way down to my ass and pulled me closer into his chest. I could feel his abs that were barely contained by his thin black t-shirt. He finally broke away from me and pressed his nose against mine. “Mine.” he said breathlessly. When he opened his eyes, they were as black as his hair. He buried my face in my curls and nibbled on my ear lobe. “I can smell your arousal baby, it’s the sweetest scent in this world.” I melted into him and never wanted to regain my balance. I closed my eyes and tried to calm my s****l urges. Even though he was my mate, I didn’t know a thing about him. I’m surprised I even knew his name. Good thing we would have all of eternity to learn everything there is to know about each other.
