Chapter 3By the time they had window-shopped their way down the hill, Lucy was slightly footsore and had made a mental note of which establishments to re-visit when she was wearing sturdier shoes. Tobias commented that as it was nearly dinner time, his empty stomach bothered him more than his feet. They were glad to come across the open and welcoming doors of the White Hart Hotel and were seated among the bustle of the dining room with enticing aromas coming from the kitchens, before being served a hearty and inexpensive repast.
