crazy how love works sometimes ?

Morning rays passing through the window straight into my eyes on a Saturday morning. Ughhh, I groaned, just immediately I got a phone call. Took the call and it was my mom !! "Hello" she said , sounding very annoyed. "Yes mom." "Don't tell me you're still in bed right now. Daisy!!! the time is 9am already, did you forget you were supposed to accompany your cousin to get her wedding dress???" Immediately I jumped out of the bed and ran into the bathroom and took my tooth brush and started brushing. "Mmmm, mummy, I'm already on my way , I stopped to get coffee , I'll be there in five minutes " "You better be!" she yelled and ended the call muttering insults through the phone. I quickly took a shower and dashed out of the house. I got on the bus , moving straight to the back of the bus , plugged in my air pods and just took a stare at the city . Mornings are always so beautiful, everyone trying to get to their various work places , students rushing to get to school, it is always so busy in the city. I got to my my mom's apartment 30mins late, I had to sneak into the house and enter my cousin's room who was getting ready. Entering the room, she was already dressed, she turned to look at me with her annoyed face . "why are you late?" "it's not my fault I promise" "so who's fault is it?" " I don't even get why you picked me to go with you to get your dress" "that's because you're the only one with fashion sense" I smiled without letting my teeth show, with my rumbling tommy I hugged her so tight "you've not eaten?" I shook my head "but I thought mom said you stopped for coffee" " well.....I wanted to but if I did , I'd have missed the bus " " we're already late , we'll get you something to eat on our way " immediately we ran out of the room , mom was in the kitchen, we passed by to tell her we were leaving "when did you get here?" I got here a while ago " she turned to look at Emily as she nodded in confirmation "the sandwich is almost done " "no aunt, we're running late , I and Daisy would get something to eat on our way there " " okay" she turned towards my direction "......Daisy , we need to have a talk when you get back" "okay mom" We walked down the streets before getting a cab "Wah do you think mom wants to talk to me about ?" I asked immediately the driver started the engine "I don't know , but she said something that you've been avoiding your dad lately and that's like impossible " "ugghhh.... I told him I'm fine " "what's wrong with you ? " while I was training on court , I got a fracture, but it was taken care of and I'm completely fine now , but he's still insisting that I go to the hospital" " but I think he's right , at least get checked to make sure everything is okay with you , I don't want you getting sick on the day of my wedding" " very funny , even if I get to be on my sick bed , I'll tell the doctor to get my bed at the reception" "you stupid girl " ... we both bursted into laughter.. We continued chatting in the car until we got to the bridal shop. She paid the driver and we walked into the shop " welcome" one of the dressmakers said as she got up from where she was sitting "Good morning" we both chorused "please have a sit" ... we took our sit in the direction she pointed " I'm the one who called last week to make enquires about this place and you told me to come by nine" " oh dear , alot of persons call to make enquires, forgive me if I dint recognize you " "no problem " " so what are you in for " " can I see wah you have first?" " I think a corset bodice gown would look really good on you"... I turned to the dressmaker " are does available?" " yeah sure ", she got up " just follow me this way " we both got up and followed her lead . There different types of corset gowns , some were flay and some were peplums " you can pick wah you want and try it on" Emily took a very deep breath and looked at me . Her eyes looked really confused and some what desperate. They were screaming help me!, cause I'm confused . we've always been really good at communicating with our eyes . She has always been the daughter my mom always wanted whereas I was the exact opposite of it all. " just try a few of them on then we'll pick which fits best " Her face blossomed with relief. She tried a few of them, it was really difficult to pick one because all she tried were so fascinating and looked so cute on her , she has a really cute curvy shape ,with her little bum and moderate size boobs, she had a really lovely body I always got jealous of. We finally got to pick one of the gowns, the gown was truly fascinating, it had silver designs on it , it had no hands attached , the back of the dress had corset on it . Honestly that was the exact fit for her. " oh my God !".. I said immediately I looked up at her when she walked out of the dressing room " okay.. we're done , this is the amazing!!..." she blushed making her cheeks have a touch of red " is it good ?" " hell yeah" I said getting up to go to where she stood " trust me , Richard's jaw is going to drop down when he sees you on that day " " so we'd go this yeah?" "absolutely" she went back inside got undressed, we paid for the gown and left the shop , we stopped at a coffee shop near the bridal shop , we made an order and sat down " so which shoes do you suggest that would fit the gown ?" " alot of shoes can go with it but we'll check immediately we're through right?" " yeah sure". The waiter brought our order " so what's up with you and Christian, how are things with you the both of you ?" she took a sip immediately she completed her statement "well .... a little rough these days" "rough?? what's up again?" "He's been like really busy these days with work , I'm kind of starting to think it's not just work that's keeping him that busy ....last time we saw was like last week Tuesday and he no longer calls me, and when I call he says he's too busy with work , he has piled work and his client are always on his neck, bit it pains me because I'm also busy as f**k all the time but I always make out time for him" "That's really messed up, those ain't reason not to check up on your girlfriend" "Exactly, and I just feel something is definitely up with him because since we started dating, he has always been really busy but has always made time for us, I just have that feeling that something is definitely up with him" " have you confronted him about it ?" "we've talked about it like a dozen times but he just doesn't crack" "I guess he's actually UpTo something for real tho" I took my last sip "Look, we are in a very lovely moment right now, let's not ruin the fun with all these talks , it's just not worth it" " But are you sure you're okay?" "of course I am" she also took her last sip and we both got and left the place immediately she paid the bill. We went to the shoe shop across the road to get shoes that'll match her outfit. After we were done with that we went to the salon to get a little touch for our hair , we spent a couple of hours and went home from there. Before we got home it was already getting dark , immediately I opened the I could get that fresh scent of my mom's food from the kitchen, dinner was almost ready and we were home right on time. "oh my God , mom what are you cooking" I said as I got into the kitchen "I've really missed your cooking" "well it's not my fault you don't like coming over for a visit " "mom, you know it's not like that " " I'm always busy" * Too busy that you can't even spare a few minutes for your mom, but you always spend time with your dad. Now us that fair?" "mom!" I said and I walked out of the kitchen a little pissed off "Hope you girls were able to get a perfect dress " "yes we did aunt" " don't worry, dinner would soon be ready and I'll check it out" I went upstairs and dropped all wah we got in Emily's room while she was trying to help my mom set the table. Ever since Emily moved in with us when her mom died, she's been the best sister I never had, although I always jealoused her but she always had my back each time I got into trouble. She always had a perfect life throughout our stay together, academically, she was awesome, and now she's getting married to a doctor Richard, I just hope all goes well for her all the time. "Emily , were you able to talk to your dad?" "yeah , we spoke this morning before I went out " " Did he say when he'll be coming into town?" " He said he'll come here on Thursday so he can give a helping hand with the preparations but if he's unable to , then he'll come on Friday night " "okay love" We had dinner and mom checked the outfit we picked. I had to end up sleeping over because it got a little too late for me to go home.
