I grabbed my shoulder bag as I headed out of my dorm room. Locking the door behind me, I swerved past some guys playing idly down the hall instead of getting ready for classes. I grabbed a bite from one of the many food places on campus before I walked through the doors of the Agriculture building.
To other people, it made no sense for me to come all the way in the city to get my degree in Agriculture but no one really knew that I grew up in the country and agriculture became my life. I smiled as I saw Alexis waiting on me by the banister in the great lecture halls and I quickly ran over to her.
"Hey." I say as I arrive.
"Hey la bestie." She greets, pulling me into a hug.
Some of the students around us start to snicker and we pulled away before heading to our usual seat. I was happy that people thought we were together, it spared me a whole lot of thrashing but it still didn't stop the bullying from my roommates. As the thought left my head I looked up to see Damon as he followed his latest 'score' into our classroom.
The girl was a tall brunette with slim features and a huge a*s. I shook my head as I saw how predictable he could be. Apparently, he refused to date a girl unless she had a bit of junk in her trunk and I groaned in annoyance as the girl fell for his charms.
"Why are you getting all annoyed? It's not like you'd be able to resist him if he flirted with you." Alexis whispers and I roll my eyes at her.
"Like he would even look at me with anything other than hatred."
"He doesn't hate you Chris."
"He doesn't like me."
Before she had a chance to respond, our Accounts lecturer entered and the class plunged into absolute silence. I pulled out my notepad and pen as the lesson began and every once in a while my mind would go back to the dream I had of him. It always happened. I'd dream of him nightly and fantasize about him daily.
By the time I snapped out of my thoughts the class was over and yet again, I had no idea what we just learnt. I looked down at my notebook and saw that I had drawn portrait after portrait of the guy I constantly thought about and most of them were just obscene. I quickly slammed my book shut before anyone noticed and I walked out to catch up with Alexis.
"Why didn't you tell me I was daydreaming again? I missed the entire class session." I scolded as I adjusted my bag strap and fell in step with her.
"You never listen to me and besides, you're the smartest guy I know so tuning out on a few classes isn't going to hurt your valedictorian position."
"Can we stop it with the whole vale thing? Next time, hit me behind the head."
"Gibbs style?"
"Yeah."
I smirked at her as she giggled and we both split as we had different classes. I headed towards the microB lab and prepared myself since not only was I going to be in class until twelve but I was going to be stuck with none other than Damon Wright. Walking in I sat in the third seat near the door and as soon as I pulled on my lab coat and pulled out my necessary stationeries Damon comes in and sits in the row next to me but occupies the second seat instead of the third.
He turns towards me and gives his goofy smirk and I can't help but shake my head. If I stared at him any longer I might actually start to drool and it was too early in my life to die.
"Hey doofus, what'd it do?"
I roll my eyes at him and tried my hardest not to smile at his stupid comment and I'm happy as the professor steps in. I notice that the twins arrive a second later and they both ignore the hard look from our professor as they sit near Damon.
A mere ten minutes after the lecture starts the trio strikes up a conversation with the girls nearby and I once more roll my eyes at their disinterest for the subject. I still don't know how they manage to keep up their GPAs when all they do is flirt and party.
I tried to focus on the lecture but when I heard Damon talk about the party that he was going tonight, my ears decided to disobey me. Apparently they were invited to some big party held by some final year law students and knowing them, it would be kick a*s.
I became distracted from my thoughts as Damon began to idly play with his pen and the action made me inhale for some reason. He was flicking the pen between his middle and index fingers and my eyes refused to focus on anything else. When his hand brought that same pen to his lips and I no longer saw the bottom half, I exhaled deeply.
He was unintentionally sucking the pen and my heart increased its soulful rhythm at this beautiful action. He's focused completely on what the plum brunette was saying and I can't stop myself from ogling him.
His wavy black hair is styled to perfection with just a strand out of place but which falls perfectly against his chiseled face. His eyes; even though focused solely on the conversation, is light brown, almost Amber and his lashes are perfectly spaced and touches his high cheek bone every time he laughs.
I'm distracted when he unconsciously puts the pen back into his mouth and I grip the edges of my table tightly as he absentmindedly sucks. I stare at the action; focusing my mind on the small part that disappears inside his mouth before reemerging with that little glisten of saliva.
A groan slips from my lips and my pants started to tighten as I see his tongue quickly dart out before encircling the base of the pen and my breathing has suddenly become labored.
The sound I made; even though soft, was still loud enough to reach Damon's ears since he was sitting closest to me and he turns to my direction. His face instantly changed form slightly distracted to surprised then confused before settling on a look I couldn't decipher.
In that moment I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me but I settled for the ringing of the bell.
The second it went off, I flew through that door in five seconds flat before I made a beeline for the men's room. I didn't even want to think about what I would have to face later tonight since I knew I would probably die. Not only did I just get caught ogling my roommate but he caught me in a compromising position.
I could just imagine how I looked to him.
Hands tightly gripping my desk, breathing shallow, and a face that just screamed I'm coming.
I groaned loudly as I slammed the stall door shut and slinked to the floor as I buried my shame.
