Chapter 2: The Bad Girl Gets a Babysitter
We did a few more shows before taking a break. While I loved being on the road and making music, it's still nice to come home. Besides, I missed Carmen’s cooking.
I trudged downstairs to the kitchen. Carmen, our housekeeper looked up as I came in.
“Buenos días, niña Angelica,” she greeted me. Good morning, Miss Angelica.
“Good morning, Carmen,”I answered, hugging the older woman who’d been more of a mother than my own had been “I've missed you so much.”
