I’m sitting on a chair at the little table in Caleb’s bedroom. “Why can’t I just go home?” I ask Lexi as she is putting my makeup on me. “I don’t know. You could try asking the guards outside the doors, but I don’t think they will answer you.” I sigh as she finally finishes with my face. The door to the room opens and Caleb walks in looking at me. “You look very beautiful Ellie.” I just look at him and turn away from him. “Lexi you are dismissed. Thank you for staying with her this morning.” I turn and gasp as I watch Lexi look at him. “It was no problem, Alpha. She is my best friend.” She says dancing out the door.
