Natasha’s pov
Today was the day that Brian was expected to be coming back to town and I was a nervous wreck. Although it had been a quiet week and nothing had gone wrong while he was away, I was still afraid that he would find out that I had been sipping coffee with Ms. Scott and flip out. To me, it didn’t matter what the woman had or who she was. I was just concerned about why she was showing interest in me and what stood out was Brian’s words and warning that I had to keep my distance from her. However, the more I spoke to her the m0ore I realized that she didn’t know that I was meant to keep my distance from her and this made me wonder even more what Brian’s reasons for doing that were. In short, I was a little bothered by this.
