It was such a good thing she decided to come and check on the shop, the fire apparently had only just begun and the firefighters managed to make it in a couple of minutes.
They put the fire out and thankfully only half of the cafe was burned. The fire didn't get a chance to touch the bookstore although the front part of the cafe was burnt.
She sat in her car keeping an eye on Carina. She was scared that if she left her, she would be taken away.
A similar car pulled up and parked a few feet away.
Lilianna silently watched as Nicoli got out the car. Their eyes met, but she looked away after a few seconds.
This is why she wanted to keep his meetings a secret.
He walked over to her and stopped so she only saw his black shoes.
