Alex felt his willpower vanish as if it were nothing more than a cloud of smoke. He had nothing to anchor himself to except for this exceptional woman in his arms. There were so many reasons they shouldn’t be doing this but all thoughts fled out the window. He was tired of fighting this force between them. And when she looked up at him with those soft innocent doe-eyes he was a goner.
This was every fantasy come to life. Payton was the star of all of his dreams. He’d dreamed about being with Payton like this so many times over the years but the reality was so much better. Her taste was now branded on his tongue. Her scent permanently stuck in his nose. She was d**g he never wanted to get over.
