Sasha managed to run off with our roomie and a few other freshman shifters as soon as we started our long, very quiet tour with Professor Grumpy Pants. I made sure to give her the stink eye as she left. Leaving me alone with someone who couldn’t handle jokes and also had a problem with me having Elite status was crappy. I didn’t even know what that entailed but I sure was going to use every privilege it gave me just to mess with Grumpy.
“This is the gym where you will have two of your classes.” Black pointed to a huge three-story circular building. “One class will be for your magic or shifting abilities. There are rooms protected with spells, charms, and such to make sure no one can get hurt and some newbie can’t burn the building down.”
