"Thank you for coming!" I told Jocelyn before pulling away.
She hit my arm playfully. "Are you kidding. You used your mind-link and asked me to come see you. Of course I was going to show up."
I giggled at her and fell back onto my pillows, Jocelyn crawled up and snuggled next to me.
"What's wrong, Evie?" I closed my eyes and rolled away from her. "I hate that my entire being misses him, even after everything he put me through." I sighed "I just wish he never marked me."
She wrapped an arm over me and I held her hand. "Have you talked to them about this?" I shook my head "I don't want to bring him up, I'm afraid I'll upset them if I do."
