I look up at her, noticing the malicious smile that tells me this is something she is doing on purpose. most likely to witness a tear escape my eyes. I shake my head and scoff, turning to look to my left. "Must I complete this task immediately? Sage, please refrain from making me do anything I do not want to." I remark sharply, and she gives me a wide-eyed stare in response. I think my response took her a little by surprise. Her laugh is contagious.
