35. Breakfast and Promises

This morning, Naomi decided she’d give up on getting to know the true Liberty. On her own.  Since she already admitted to herself that she likes him, she figures her eyes would be able to know the true nature of the devil now, slowly but clearly. After everything that happened around the two them, the devil has proven himself time and again that he’s not as evil as he thinks himself to be. He’s someone worthy of trust, no matter what other people (and creatures) say. Naomi will continue to trust him. But making this pledge does not mean that every waking hour with Liberty from now on wouldn’t be a torture for her. It would be the purest form of torment to fight every blush whenever he’s around.
