“I don’t know why, I am not convinced,” A new voice speaks up. This one is soft yet deep, and it begs for attention.
My mind wants to see this man, even if my whole attention is on Knox. His voice alone sends a cold chill down my spin.
‘ Keep your attention on me and only me.’ Knox’s words ring in my mind once more, him and only him. My vision shifts to Knox’s lips, and I swallow hard.
