Asher's POV
Restless, I tossed and turned all night. It wasn't because of a nightmare that I didn't sleep.
What was bothering me so much?
Nothing had happened to make me upset, anxious, or angry.
I clenched my fists and growled.
It had to be Vika. Whatever she was feeling was so strong that I could feel it through the mate bond.
Tears sprang to my eyes. I wiped them away quickly. Yeah, that definitely wasn't one of my emotions.
I waited for her to settle down, but she was still worked up by the time the sun rose.
My poor mate. What was bothering her so much?
We were both still high off our night together when I'd left her. What could have happened to ruin that feeling?
Okay, now I was worried. Something really had to be wrong to get her going like that.
