He was about to answer her question when they heard heavy stomping sounds.
They went further into the cave to hide.
"Where did those two go?"
She could only see their feet when she peeked into the cave's opening.
"I did not know."
"Don't you think they hid in the caves?"
"No! It was dark there. Humans did not like darkness!"
"Thank God these creatures were dumb." the fourth spirit whispered.
The two remained silent until the ogres left.
"What should we do now?" Maxine asked.
"We should hike the mountain. The peak of it was the target's brain. I had to perform the prayer there."
Maxine nodded. She trusted what the spirit said.
"The route would be tough, right?"
"Here, memorize the map I made."
A hologram of a map appeared in front of her.
