The brightness in her face got dimmer as the warmness on her skin evaporated. Based on the weather forecast, it would be a sunny day.  Looking at her window, it was far from being sunny. The grayish clouds reigned in the sky.  Ice crystals seeped into the glass.  "Max, were you alright?"  She gave him a broad smile and said, "Yeah. It was just the weather forecast seemed wrong."  "They called it 'weather forecast' for a reason. Catch!"  Kent threw three marbles. It was not an ordinary marble, though.  People rub these in their hands and tuck them in their mittens or pockets to prevent frostbite.  They derived these marbles from the feu balls Maxine packed in her luggage.  Through the absence of the sun, Maxine's heart was about to melt.
