I should have told Maverick to fu.ck off and went about my day. He was probably just setting me up to make fun of me anyway. The moment I agree, he's going to laugh in my face and tell the entire school.
That must be his plan. Why else would he say all of that? We're siblings now, even if it is just stepsiblings. Besides, Maverick hates me, and I hate him.
Well... I wouldn't say hate, I guess. That's a strong word. Maverick just gets under my skin.
Still, he did have a point. I won't develop feelings for Maverick. I didn't even want to do this exploring in the first place, but statistics freaked me out. Maybe it would be better to take Maverick up on his offer.
