I stood in front of uncle Lycus, disbelieving what I was hearing.
“I told you…I told you all!” Zelenia was screeching, tears running down her face, all the while my mother and auntie Calli were trying their hardest to sooth her. “I knew she wasn’t dead! No one listened to me! You all thought I was crazy to hold out hope!”
“This isn’t a sure thing Zel…” Uncle Lycus said softly. “We don’t know if she was what the rogues were talking about…or if they are just chasing some wild assumption they have. We can’t jump to conclusions.”
