Hurt

1759 Words
Blake POV I leave that room and walk through the house to the den; stepping in, I close the door and throw myself down on the sofa. That f*ck*ng hurt more than I want to admit. The sound of the door has me turning and looking. Jax walks over and sits beside me. “He’s stressed; you know, the grumpy f*ck*r forgets basic sh*t,” his words are full of humour. It isn’t stress; it’s the start of Chase hiding this again and putting us through the sh*t caused by it. He cups my chin with his hand, his fingers pushing into my cheeks as he forces me to look at him. “You know what he’s like. Give him a bit of time, and he won’t act like that again,” his words try to reassure me, but he’s a fool if he thinks this is a split-second panic. He’s set to push us both away to hide the truth until he’s convinced she has gone. “I’ll hunt him down later for you if you want?” His words have me laughing, and he releases my face, his finger stroking along my jaw. “I’m surprised you left him with her,” I glance towards him. “She’s hot,” his words have me laughing. I saw it on your face as well; you can’t deny it,” he winks, and I nod. “Which is why I’m shocked you left him and her alone. I saw the look in his eyes, admiring her before she even opened her mouth to him.” We never find a woman, not one comfortable with us three and well, Jax’s dark desires and Chase’s grumpy *ss. “He will be nice, she heard her story, and we all know he’s a sucker for a damsel. F*ck*ng her won’t happen, she doesn’t seem like the type to be into this.” He doesn’t think she is. “Excuse me, she was practically f*ck*ng eating us with her eyes,” I mutter, and he chuckles. “Yeah, that b*tch is wild. Honestly, she thought it was a joke, and we were going to strip,” he laughs and leans back. “If he goes into hiding, leave him to it. You know, pushing makes him hide more.” He’s not wrong, and I should be used to his rejection by now. I’m not, though. Jax leans forward, his mouth pressing against mine, his hand gripping my hair and pulling my head back. I groan and feel his mouth moving down my neck. He kisses and nips slightly. His warm breath dusts over my neck. A second later, he puts his hot mouth back onto the side of my throat, trailing his teeth across the skin. I feel him shift slightly, and his hand strokes along my abs, which makes me stifle a groan as he reaches my trousers and grips my c*ck. “Thinking of becoming a top,” I mutter, and his mouth stops nipping at my neck. “Let me know how that goes and when you want to bottom again, okay?” He mocks slightly and licks my neck. “Best get back out there and make sure he’s not f*ck*ng her and complicating this situation a whole sh*t more.” His words are mumbled before he jumps up and walks to the door. Stopping, he glances back at me. “We all like her, you know. The question is, do we see if she fits?” His words end as he walks out and closes the door. Sitting here, I consider what Jax said—the idea he’s hinting at. I would agree quickly. It’s Chase who would fight it and refuse. Actually, it’s Chase who fights everything. We’ve gotten into a good routine, which is set to change if Dhalia stays. Everything goes back to Chase acting like a prick and hiding himself. I give up and go to bed, unwilling to speak to Chase tonight about his reaction. ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~ Walking through to the kitchen, I see Chase cooking. Grabbing a coffee, I sit down and avoid even looking at him. “Blake,” he says my name, and I glance at him briefly before returning to my coffee. I feel his hand tangle into my hair and yank my head back. “I’m sorry, okay. I f*ck*ng panicked she would see.” “So she sees! Who gives a sh*t, Chase? No one,” I shout, and he keeps his grip on my hair. His other hand rubs along his stubble as he sighs. “You know it’s not that simple and easy,” his words are barely even a whisper. It’s never that simple with him. Jax and I have no issue with people knowing; it’s him. “It’s always you, Chase, the one who refuses and hides the truth. Even when it comes to women, she knows instantly outside of these four d*mn walls. She is only one of our girlfriends. Screw what people think,” my words shouted, and he released the grip on my hair, much to my disappointment. He looks at me and steps back from cooking. “Get here,” he growls, and my head shakes. “Get here, Blake,” he waits, and I walk around. As I reach him, his body steps forward, pushing me back against the side. His hand grips my hair and pulls my head back. “I’ll stop, right? Small touches and sh*t around others, I will stop freaking out and running.” He says that, but something tells me that if I touch his neck like I did last night with anyone close, he’ll act cold again. “You know how much this means to me, Blake; I’m sorry for f*ck*ng hurting you, okay?” his words end, and he kisses my neck. My arms wrap around his neck, and he pushes me to the side more. His lips find mine, and his tongue works its way into my mouth. “Planning to burn the food as well?” I hear Jax and watch Chase step back slightly. “Swear to you; I will try not to run and freak out,” Chase says before giving me a slight smile and walking back to cook. I’ve no choice but to wait and see if he is honest. “So, Dhalia?” Jax asks as he pushes his body against the back of mine. His hands lean onto the island. His breath hits my neck as he speaks, and I fight back the groan. His hips move slightly, grinding his c*ck against me. “We need to figure out if letting her go is safe. I’m not happy about pushing her out if someone is going to hurt her,” I explain, and Chase sighs. “As much as I don’t want her here, we’ve no f*ck*ng choice until we know she’s safe.” “Well, thanks for that,” Jax’s words are taunting as he pushes into me more. “I meant the fact we all like her. She’s here.” Jax speaks, and his hand strokes up my body, causing it to shake. “Are you out of your mind? Come on, we’ve tried, we’ve failed. We should give up,” Chase complains, and I get what he’s saying. Rubbing my face, I sigh. “If we gave up every time we failed Chase, we wouldn’t be here today. Actually, I’m pretty sure me and Jax wouldn’t be near your *ss,” I point out the facts. To begin with, Chase was brutal. He would agree, then run. He would show up, be fine, then disappear for weeks. If Jax and I had given up, we wouldn’t be together now. “You two rarely get near my *ss Blake,” Chase winks at me teasingly, and he’s right. He’s a top in every situation. He rarely becomes the bottom. “It would help if we found a woman interested in this,” I explain, and they know I’m right. “You need help handling us two?” Jax whispers before biting my ear. He’s not wrong, though. Sure, I love them, and this is great, but it’s tiring. Having a woman join means it’s not always me getting f*ck*d. Not that I mind, I don’t; I f*ck*ng love it but still, it will help. “We don’t even know if she is okay with guys being with other guys. She could be totally against it. See relationships as only meant to be one man and one woman. Here, you two are considering asking her to join us?” Chase shakes his head as he begins to put the food out. “She’s going to be here for a while,” Jax points out, as we all know. “And if she speaks?” Chase looks at us. Always back to this, I rub my face in frustration. “What are you expecting to happen if people find out you f*ck a guy?” Jax laughs from behind. “Two guys Blake, two guys as he f***s me as well,” he bites at my neck, and I push him back to get his body off mine. He laughs and reaches around me to grab the plates. My eyes stay on Chase, waiting for him to explain. “I like my life to be private. Can you imagine the headlines when people find out? How might it affect the businesses we own? Never mind the fact of the heads it will turn within the illegal world, a Don that f*ck men.” His short outburst ends, and I watch him grab things. “I’m sorry that me not wanting people to know the truth is so bad for you guys,” he mutters and sits at the table. “It’s not bad; you’re just expecting the worst, which might not happen,” I say repeatedly, but he doesn’t take it in. “Look, we can speak to her and find out about her. See what she’s like before we even approach the subject. My point is, at some point, one of us or all of us will f*ck her while she’s here. So why hide it all?” Jax looks at Chase, and his statement is correct. “Fine, I’ll agree. If she agrees, I’ll agree to try. Just be ready for it to f*ck up,” Chase mutters while glaring towards his plate. I hear the door close and smile. She’s coming.
